Harper’s Bazaar Ukraine magazine, whose name has been associated for already over 140 years with fashion and luxury, organized for the second time the Bazaar FashionForward. This project is aimed at search and support of young Ukrainian fashion talents.

The project mission is to create the new history of Ukrainian fashion through bringing the Ukrainian fashion industry to a new level, perceiving it as part of the world fashion industry.

From more than 70 people from all over Ukraine who applied this year for the award, the jury composed of Natalya Guzenko (Editor-in-Chief), Olga Dobel (Art Director), Svitlana Lyzogubenko (Fashion Editor), and Nina Direnko (Fashion Editor) have chosen 8 finalists and afterwards - the winners. The Bazaar FashionForward distinguishes 3 categories: Fashion Designer, Fashion Stylist, and Fashion Photographer.

The winners of the Bazaar FashionForward project  Dina Linnik (category Fashion Designer), and Vita Grodzitska (Fashion Photographer nomination) apllied with an original project, presenting art installations and uniting several fashion trends: clothes collection, illustration, sketch, photography and backstage video.

Harper’s Bazaar Ukraine provided the winners a training at the magazine and a day in the office of a young but famous fashion designer Catherine Malandrino.

Unfortunately, there were no applications for the Fashion Stylist category. The editor’s office and the jury hope to discover a talent next year, and are inviting everyone willing to participate in the project. For details, please see http://www.bazaarfashionforward.com/
