Bazaar. Cinema Days. Celebrations in honour of the world 145th anniversary in Ukraine

This year, Harper’s Bazaar is celebrating its world anniversary – 145 years since the publication of the first issue of the magazine. Bazaar Cinema Days is the projects opening the celebrations on the occasion of this anniversary in Ukraine.

For two days – 15 and 16 February – two closed shows of Madonna’s film W.E., an event of the 68th Venice Film Festival, will be held at 19:00 in the Ukraine cinema house for the magazine's partners and advertisers.

W.E. is the new work of Madonna as film director. One of the main characters of this film is Wallis Simpson, an American, for whom King Edward VIII abdicated the British throne. The part of Wallis was played by Andrea Riseborough – it is she whom Madonna appeared with on the cover page of the February issue of Harper’s Bazaar.
 
Not only the smash-hit film, but also the meeting with the editor-in-chief of Harper’s Bazaar Ukraine Natalia Guzenko, cocktails from Martini, and the DJ set according to Madonna’s creative works and to the film sound track are waiting for the guests.

Harper’s Bazaar readers in the four cities of Ukraine – Kyiv, Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Odessa – also have a chance to get to this film show. You can find the invitation in the March issue of the magazine. From 14 to 20 February 2012, the first 50 readers in each of these cities may exchange the invitation from the magazine for the ticket in the cinema cash desk in their city.
