The winner of the project Bazaar Fashion Forward goes on internship to American designer THAKOON

 On July 22, 2010 the second party of Bazaar Fashion Nights has passed in the boutique-hotel “Vozdvyzhensky”. Bazaar Fashion Night is a series of three pre-parties. Each one is devoted to the most relevant fashion trend of the season. This time it was pastel.

As usual, the fashion trend was supported by the dress code of the guests and the videos from the shows of the world fashion designers, who were the best in this trend this season. Hostesses were dressed in clothes granted by the show-room Voskhod (Ksenia Marchenko, Lida Petrova, Alexander Kanevsky. Make-up and hairstyles of the hostess – by empire of the beauty Dessange.

Atmosphere of art museum was created during the party in the patio of Vozdvizhensky. The guest were "welcomed" by mannequins in clothes from the capsule collection by Mariia Reva, the winner of the project Bazaar Fashion Forward in the category of "Fashion Designer". Nearby there was a display with a photo session devoted to the collection, made by Katerina Podlesnaya (Cate Underwood), the winner of the Bazaar Fashion Forward in the category of "Fashion photographer". Readers of Harper's Bazaar will be able to see a full version of the session in the main issue of the year – the September issue which is on sale August 16.

The cocktails of the party have become the most popular mint-lime Bacardi Mojito Classic, which for a long time pretends to be a synonym of luxury and style, and Bacardi Mojito Cranberry for connoisseurs of alternative drinks.

“As part of our second pre-party there was a presentation of the author project of the winners of Bazaar Fashion Forward - fashion designer Mariia Reva and fashion photographer Katerina Podlesnaya.

Also this evening we presented our special project “Summer Reading” which appeared in the August issue of Harper’s Bazaar.

And, most importantly, we have announced the name of fashion designer to who Maria Reva will go on internship in August this year - THAKOON, famous American designer.”
